The veil of darkness begins in the middle of the bog, well before the visual limit of the dome. The ruins can be paraglided into, but the sudden cover of darkness may completely disorient the player upon landing. They're surrounded by a bog, so they can't be accessed to by swimming. The Thyphlo Ruins are completely shrouded in darkness, and they can only be accessed/exited from the west or by teleporting away. The statues point to other statues in the general pathway towards Ketoh Wawai Shrine.
